From Heritage:

"The Heritage Custom Shop Core Collection H-157, crafted at our legendary facility on 225 Parsons Street, elevates the classic single-cut solid body to new heights in tone and visual appeal. Constructed from ultra-light genuine mahogany and paired with a meticulously selected mahogany top, the body provides a comfortable weight while delivering depth and clarity in its mid-range response. The ebony fretboard is beautifully bound and equipped with Jescar Medium/Jumbo frets, featuring a neck carve that pays homage to the beloved '50s profile. The guitar is finished with nitrocellulose, providing a vintage gloss that ages beautifully over time. With its comfortable weight and unmatched playability, this instrument sets a new standard.

The Core Collection H-157 is powered by a pair of 225 Hot Classic humbuckers. These pickups are handwound with carefully selected parts, designed to deliver more oomph and power while maintaining dynamics and touch sensitivity. They excel with distortion or heavier music styles. Additionally, the pickups are wax-potted to guard against unwanted noise and feedback. Other premium electronic components include CTS 500K potentiometers for tone and volume, Orange Drop .022uF capacitors, and a 3-way Switchcraft toggle switch and input jack, ensuring pristine signal integrity for precise sound sculpting.

New visual enhancements have also been applied to the H-157. Multi-ply binding adorns the body and headstock, which also features a beautiful kite inlay. The fretboard boasts block inlays. The instrument is finished with gold hardware and a multi-bound black pickguard. Each guitar is shipped in a luxurious Heritage Custom Shop hard case along with case candies. Every element, from the cherished tonewoods to the vintage-inspired accents, has been meticulously curated for both performance and visual appeal."

Testimonials

We had a GREAT experience. Raina helped us and we were there buying a guitar for my daughter. We didn't know anything and she was mindful of budget, never made us feel stupid and explained everything clearly. I would happily refer friends.

I took a student of mine to get his first guitar...a PRS SE Custom 24. We drove 3 hours to the guitar mecca of Wisconsin. Big shout out to Brett, Jordan, Christian, Brandon and Dave. I also took my student to see the collection upstairs and Dave was kind enough to answer some trivia questions concerning the PRS collection. Great experience, worth the travel. Thanks and Rawk on!
