Shipping policy

Dave's Guitar Shop ships Monday-Friday.  We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday.  Our preferred shipping carrier for guitars, amplifiers and large items is Fedex.  Small goods such as pedals are generally shipped via FedEx 2-Day Pak.  We do offer shipping via USPS as well.  We do ship internationally.

Items ordered before 2:00pm CST Monday through Friday will be shipped same-day.*  Items ordered between 2:00-4:00pm CST may possibly be shipped same-day, but may be shipped on the next shipping day.  Items ordered after 4:00pm CST will be shipped the following shipping day. 

Customers are issued a tracking number at the time the order is processed.  This tracking number will not 'go live' until the carrier has picked up and scanned the package.  Often this is 5:00pm CST or after.  For example, if an order is placed at 4:15pm CST on a Friday, the tracking number will not provide any information until Monday at 5:00pm CST or later.

Dave's Guitar Shop uses the Aeris system for packaging guitars.  This is the safest, most efficient, and sustainable system we have found. 

Dave's Guitar Shop does not keep original shipping boxes.  It is extremely likely your item will arrive in a box that is either unlabeled or printed with a different brand.

If your item is damaged in shipping, please notify us at your earliest convenience.  If your item arrives with visible evidence of mishandling, please take photographs prior to opening the package.  If your item is indeed damaged, please photograph the damage as well.  We will need these photographs to determine the next course of action.
