Dave’s Drum Depot stocks percussion brands like DW, Gretsch, Sonor, Barton, Meinl, Zildjian, Tama, and PDP. Additionally, we also stock keyboards and synths from brands like Nord, Korg, Kurzweil, and Novation!
Even though the new shop is located in La Crosse, as always we are happy to help with any drum and keyboard related inquiries online and over the phone. You can also do business with our stores in Milwaukee and Madison, as we will be accepting drum and keyboard trades towards any piece of gear at any Dave’s location.

Terry Nirva
Manager of Dave's Drum Depot

After over 35 years of working in music retail in Wisconsin, specializing in percussion and piano, Terry Nirva got the job of his dreams: starting a new drum store with Dave Rogers. After months of ordering product, fixtures, and preparing the store, Dave’s Drum Depot opened in April 2020.
Terry is a lifelong drummer and percussionist, playing continuously with bands since the early 70s. He has played with the Grammy-winning Native American singer/songwriter Bill Miller for decades, traveling widely as a sideman, and recording on two Grammy albums. Terry plays locally with The Mayer Brothers Band and Shufflin’ Duprees. He has recorded on numerous albums through the years as well.

In his spare time, Terry enjoys fishing on the Mississippi River and photography; his work has been featured in several galleries. He and his wife Anna love animals and have three rescue dogs, one rescue cat, and two zebra finches in the family.

In addition to sales, drum maintenance, and shipping at Dave's Drum Depot, Carter is the shop photographer and web content creator. He graduated from the Radio/Television/Film program at UW Oshkosh in 2015 and uses his background in visual media to create engaging content for our Instagram (@davesdrumdepot) and Facebook pages.
When he's not at drum depot he can be found skateboarding or playing drums with the alt-country band Knee-High July. As a musician, he's inspired by the playing of Bill Stevenson, John Bonham, Coady Willis, and Bill Ward. His listening preferences are all over the map, ranging from Jamaican ska to sludge metal.
