About Dave’s Guitar Shop

The Madison iteration of Dave’s Guitar Shop opened on June 1st, 2018. While the store is new to the community, the folks behind the counter are not. Mike Turk, Pete Burling, and Mark Morrow all worked at Madison Music (previously named Patty Music) since the early 2000’s. Mike has actually been working at music stores in the Madison area since 1967! Dave Fouts has been in music circles in Madison since 2002, and Adam Steinquist has been repairing guitars in Madison since 2010. So while the store is new, the shop already feels like a part of the community.

The new Madison store has the same look and feel as the original store in La Crosse. We have all of the same offerings, plus a few additional offerings for high end guitars such as Goodall and Huss & Dalton to go with the Collings, Waterloo, Martin and Taylor brands. On the electric side, the Madison store carries Fender, Gibson, PRS, Gretsch, Rickenbacker for guitars. For amps, we have Fender, VOX, Blackstar, and Victoria.

Store Hours

  • M-F: 10:00am – 6:00pm
  • Sat: 10:00am – 5:00pm
  • Sun: Closed
