I’ve been playing music for the majority of my life, and playing guitar since my early teens. After Guitar Repair School in Red Wing, MN, I began working for Dave. Working here has given me the opportunity to repair a wide variety of guitars – both new and old. On a normal day I can do things that include cutting nuts and saddles, setups, touchups, and then even get in to the most intensive restorations.
My favorite guitars to work on are the really nice old ones that most people would think of as being lost causes. I am into collecting old acoustic guitars and wood. I do have a couple of vintage Martins, Dobro’s, Mandolins, and some older tube gear. I love little old Brazilian Rosewood parlor size guitars.
