Mesa Boogie King Snake 1-12 Combo

In 1969 Mesa Boogie introduced the very first amp to feature a built in overdrive. In 1971 Carlos Santana took his snakeskin Boogie #1 and #2 on a world tour and introduced the world to this amazing new guitar sound. This tribute model is an exact replica of that amp (right down to the unique chassis size and the aged Snake embossed Lambskin covering) that Carlos Santana toured with in 1972/73 as he introduced the world to this new sound. This was only made possible after Carlos watched old footage from 1971 live at Budokan and heard tones that blew him away. He then brought the fabled Boogie #1 and #2 to Randy for some TLC and compared his Boogie #1 and #2 to the Boogie #3 and #4 and low and behold Randy found the magic. These limited amps will also feature hand-signed amp plates by Carlos and Randall to commemorate and authenticate these special, limited run of amplifiers. Total production for this one time only offering will be somewhere between 400 and 600 pieces.

Orange Crush CR60C 1-12 Combo

Orange have spent years researching, developing and testing a solid state amplifier which they are truly proud of. The Orange design team felt it was important to keep these amplifiers simple and not bombard the player with hundreds of on board features. The result is an analogue, solid state, two channel (dirty and clean) amplifier based on the prestigious Rockerverb range. The dirty channel use a circuit based on four stages of gain and a three band EQ which provide the player with a wide pallet of over driven and distorted sounds. The clean channel is based on a two stage, two band EQ design, that gives the player a clean but warm sound which when cranked begins to break up, just like a Rockerverb! Although simplistic in its design, they have also given the amplifiers a transparent effects loop, allowing you to plug in your favorite pedals to open the amplifier up to a wide variety of situations and playing styles. Finally, the amplifier contains an inbuilt digital reverb, providing the player with a natural sounding spring, hall or plate reverb. The Crush CR60C has been designed to look and sound the part be it in a rehearsal, in a living room or on the stage.
