PLEASE
NOTE: The
following guitars from Dave's Personal Collection are NOT
FOR SALE.
These guitars are permanently on display at Dave's Guitar Shop, 1227 S. Third, La Crosse, WI 54601. I've had these on display on the second floor of our store (and some at home) for years now and people have always enjoyed viewing them. Recently a customer suggested putting these on the web site to share with everyone and I had to agree with him. I'm obviously a guitar fanatic and I'm happy to share with fellow guitar addicts the fun guitars we've discovered over the many years I have been in the business. This will be a slow process (so please be patient) but when all is said and done, we should have around 300 guitars listed here. Then we can talk about the amps!
Les Paul Standard '59, Cherry Sunburst. One of the most valuable solid body guitars ever made! Les Paul Goldtop '57, All mahogany & very light! Dark back, Rings like a bell! Les Paul Goldtop '54, Very rare all gold version. Clean as they come! Les Paul Goldtop '53, I've had this one around forever! I've mostly kept it just to have an example of each version of the 50's Goldtop Les Paul. We've used it for various articles, photoshoots and tabletop tennis. All kidding aside, another very clean 50's Goldtop. Les Paul Goldtop '52,
One of the first ones with the extra screws in the treble pickup
& no neck binding. These are horrible with this tailpiece
& neck angle, but fun from a collector's point of view. Les Paul Custom '58, Black, I've had this one so long that I have no idea where it came from, Maybe Santa Claus! Les Paul Custom '55, Black, The way prices are on these recently, I'm glad I bought when I did! Les Paul Special '56, Limed Mahogany, One of the cleanest ones I've ever seen! Les Paul Special '60, TV Yellow, A nice one! Les Paul TV Junior '56, Limed Mahogany, Very clean and unfaded. I've never seen a nicer one! Les Paul TV Junior '60, TV Yellow, Very clean! Les Paul Deluxe '74, Red Sparkle, Ahhhhh... Gibson in the 70's! What can I say. The quality control, the sandwiched mahogany bodies! They had it all figured out! Les Paul Deluxe '74, Blue Sparkle, See above! Les Paul Deluxe, Early 70's, Cherry Sunburst, Kind of unusual with the cherry (instead of the normal Sunburst) back. That along with its condition made me want to hang on to it. Les Paul Deluxe '73, Cherry Sunburst, Nothing too special about this one, but the evil voice in my head said I should buy it! SG/Les Paul Custom '61, White, A lot of the gold has worn away, but the guitar is overall in great shape! SG/Les Paul Standard '61, Cherry, Very clean! SG/Les Paul Standard '62, Cherry, I've always hated the tremolo on these! See this one on the cover of the October 2006 Vintage Guitar magazine! SG Standard '64, Cherry, Factory Bigsby, Clean as can be! SG Standard '65, Pelham Blue, Bought this one from a good friend (Rob Mason) at a Chicago show years ago, We had Gibson build a run of Historic SG's in this color based on this guitar! SG Special '63, White, I only like these with the small guard and no trem! SG Special '61, TV Yellow, Very rare in this color! I've only seen a small handful of these in the years I've been collecting! SG Special '61, Cherry, Another one with the small guard and no trem. Mmmm, mmm, good! Explorer '59, Natural, Purchased at a Dallas Show in the early 90's, I remember thinking at the time that if I didn't buy this one, I'd never be able find another! They are pretty scarce! Flying V '59, Natural, Formerly owned by my friend & mentor Pete Alenov (may he rest in peace), He taught me a lot about the guitar business and I think of him whenever I look at this one. See this one on the cover of the January 2006 Vintage Guitar magazine! Lonnie Mack Prototype Flying V, 90's, Cherry, Serial number 008! Moderne '82, Natural, I bought this reissue to play out with so I could leave the original one at home (just kidding)! Firebird VII '64, Sunburst, I purchased this one from the original owner! It took 15 years to convince him to sell it to me! See this one on the cover of the October 2005 Vintage Guitar magazine! Firebird V '64, Cherry, Any of these in custom colors are hard to find! I'm really fond of this one! Firebird III '64, Pelham Blue, One of my favorite Gibson custom colors! Firebird I '64, Cardinal Red, Firebird I's are hard to find in Sunburst, but custom colors are rare indeed! My good friend Paul Munden found this one for me and I am grateful to him for sending it my way! Firebird I '64, Sunburst, As clean as it gets! Just a beautiful guitar! Firebird V Non Reverse '66, Sunburst, We don't see too many Non reverse Firebird Vs 0r VIIs, but if you know of any out there for sale (especially custom colors), please let us know! Thunderbird IV Bass '64, Sunburst, These are very hard to find unbroken! USA Map Guitar '84, Natural, My mom always taught me that if you can't say anything nice about something, then don't say anything at all. ES-355 '65, Sparkling Burgundy, Non original tuners but still a great guitar! ES-335 '60, Natural, The very first guitar I bought at a guitar show (Dallas Show 1988), This was the first show I ever attended and as soon as I saw this guitar at Ed Seelig's booth, I knew I had to have it! ES-335 '61, Sunburst, This one is a GREAT player! ES-335 '61, Cherry, There really is something special about these Dot Neck ES-335s! ES-335 '63, Cherry, This one is unusual in that it has factory Grovers! ES-335 '64, Cherry, Block neck, Stop tailpiece. This is a GREAT guitar! ES-335 '64, Sunburst, We recently bought this one from the original owner. He bought it and played it for about 6 months, then put it away when he got married. A lovely guitar that looks like new! ES-335 '67, Pelham Blue, I was playing at a club in Iowa one time years ago and a guy came in and said he heard I was in to old guitars. You wouldn't believe how often this has happened over the years! ES-335 '67, Sparkling Burgundy, This guitar is weird not just because of the color, but it also has the split parallelogram inlays like an ES-345. Looks good next to the Pelham Blue one! Trini Lopez Standard '67, Cherry, Not the most popular guitar around, but it is kind of interesting! ES-330 '60, Natural, I bought this one in the mid 80's from my bass player, Mark Denny (he had collected all 3 colors of these). He got this one from Guitar Trader in Red Bank, NJ by trading his '63 Strat even up! At that time I though that was a decent deal! I guess hind sight is always 20/20! Super 400CES '59, Sunburst, I drove into the depths of Iowa to get this one from a kind but strange older gentleman that lived in a tiny, dark little trailer home with many cats! We had agreed on a price before I drove there and he took great delight in raising the price once I got there and he saw how much I liked this guitar (I never did have a good poker face!). It was a fun but interesting experience that I look back on fondly! ES-350T '58, Natural, Where did this one come from? I have no recollection of purchasing this one! Maybe I'm just getting old and my memory is going! ES-350T '57, Sunburst, Nice and flamey, I'm a BIG ES-350T fan! ES-350T '62, Natural, I bought this one from a local pedal steel player 15 years ago and he had had his initials engraved in the truss rod cover & pickguard, I thought it was a great personal touch & I've never been tempted to change it! ES-350T '62, Cherry Sunburst, I've never seen another one in this color! ES-350T '62, Sunburst, Scott Neuser sold me this one and it rounds out my collection of sharp cut 350Ts! Byrdland '57, Sunburst, Alnico P-90 pickups, Is there a reason why this guitar should be worth 1/3 of a Strat from the same year? Byrdland '61, Natural, I've had this one so long I don't recall where it came from! Tal Farlow '64, Viceroy Brown Sunburst, You don't see many of these! Especially this nice & flamey! Howard Roberts Custom, Mid 70's, Sunburst, Great shape! I bought it at a weak moment! ES-5 Switchmaster '61, Natural, They made VERY few of these in Natural with the sharp cutaway and I feel very lucky to own one! ES-5 Switchmaster '61, Sunburst, A very pretty Ice Tea-ish Sunburst on this one! Kind of unusual that it is a '61 but it still has the rounded cutaway. Probably one of the last of those! ES-5 Switchmaster '56, Sunburst, A fairly recent acquisition! I love all those knobs! ES-5 '50, Natural, Again, I've had this one so long I don't know where it came from! A beautiful guitar though! ES-5 '49, Sunburst, Formerly owned by Greg Martin of the Kentucky Headhunters. This one is in incredible condition! ES-295 '53, Tobacco Sunburst, A very rare guitar in this color. I've only ever seen one other at the first Eric Clapton auction in 1999. This one was found for me by my good friend and mentor, Jeff Hill. ES-175D '56, Natural, I've always been a sucker for blondes! ES-175D '54, Sunburst, Just a nice clean example of this model! ES-175 '64, Natural, A beautiful guitar I picked up at one of the Chicago shows many years ago. ES-175 '62, Sunburst, PAFs, A nice guitar that I have no recollection of buying. ES-175 '62, Cherry, A very rare color for this model! ES-225TDN '59, Natural, I got this one from my good buddy (and a lefty at that) Bob Graebel from Wausau. I always wanted to see him try to play this one! L-7ED '51, Sunburst, With the McCarty double pickup set up. A very clean & rare guitar! L-7C '61, Sunburst, From the Pete Allenov collection! Very clean! Barney Kessel Standard '68, Cherry Sunburst, Not the most popular guitar around, but I dig them! I'd like to find the Trini Lopez version with the 6 on a side tuners! Mmmmmm... tasty! Prototype Bass, Mid 70's, Cherry Sunburst, A bass only a mother could love! Tim (my co-worker & sometimes bass player that shoots all these wonderful photos for us to drool on) has offered me his '65 Jazz Bass & 3 Foderas for this, but I'm holding out!
Stratocaster '54,
Sunburst, I bought this one from my friend Bill Nix more years ago than
I care to remember! Back in the days when they were somewhat
affordable. Stratocaser '55, Sunburst, I think I bought this one at the peak of Strat-o-mania back in 1987 for $6000 and I thought I was crazy for doing it, but I just really liked this guitar. Stratocaster '57, Green, Very rare to ever see Custom Colors in the 50's. The guitar that I have owned for the longest time in the collection. I bought it from a PA store in Iowa after my good friend John Riniker passed on it and he was kind enough to swing it my way. It was traded in for a set of horns! Stratocaster '58, Blonde, Purchased at a Dallas Show in the early 90's from the wonderful Reeve Little (may he rest in peace). I miss him and always enjoyed buying guitars from him. You could always trust whatever he had for sale 100%. Stratocaster '58, 3 Tone Sunburst, This is one of the guitars Greg Koch used to record the CD that goes along with the upcoming Tom Wheeler Fender Amp Book that he recorded through the Fender amp collection we have here. We're excited to hear the CD and we're really excited to see the new book! Stratocaster '59, Fiesta Red, Hard tail, A little beat up, but just a wonderful guitar in a pretty rare color! Stratocaster '61, Coral Pink, Very rare color and a very cool guitar! Stratocaster '62, Salmon Pink/Fiesta Red, Gold hardware, Very flamey neck! A fellow brought this in to our store 15 years ago just wanting to know what it was worth. He said he'd had it forever and he'd never sell it. When I told him how much it was worth, he just got quiet for a bit, then said "well I'd sell it for that"! The rest is history! Stratocaster '63, Burgundy Mist, Purchased locally from the wife of the original owner. A kindly gentleman brought this guitar into my first store back in '82 for a restring & set up. I flipped when I saw the guitar and I told him if he ever parted with it to please think of me. He said he'd never part with it as it was the best playing guitar he ever had his hands on. Over the years he became a good customer & friend and he would drop in often just to say hi. One day I get a call from his wife telling me that he had died! It was a sad time for me indeed. But one thing he made clear to his wife was to make sure that I got the guitar after he was gone. I'll treasure this one till my dying day, just like he did! Stratocaster '63, Blonde, Ash body, It goes nicely with the Blonde '58! Stratocaster '63, Black, Although you wouldn't think so, Black is a rare and hard to find Custom Color! My good friend Chris Trider found this one for me years ago. Stratocaster '63, Body refinished amber, Refinished! Why on earth would I have a refinished Strat in my collection? Well it goes like this. A guy had called me at one time and said he had an old Strat, but it wasn't put together. The body was stripped and he was going to refinish it but he never got around to it. He had all the parts in a box and he asked if I was interested. We agreed on a price and I started cleaning off the body to refinish it. Strangely enough this body is Korina. I know they were experimenting a bit with woods in this period of time and we've all seen some mahogany Strats & Teles but this isn't mahogany! I just sprayed an amber clear coat over it and used it as a player for a few years (hence the strap locks), but as I am more of a maple neck fan it never got much use. Stratocaster '63, Sunburst, I've had this one longer than I care to admit! Stratocaster '65, Olympic White, I bought this one close to twenty years ago (man how time flies!)! A customer came into my shop with this guitar and he wanted to sell it. I asked him who did the refinish job on it as it looked great! He just looked confused and said he didn't understand what I was asking. He bought it new and never did anything to it! It turned out that he had bought this guitar new in 1971 (it was hanging in the store where he took lessons for 6 years!) and just never really picked it up after that. The guitar looked brand new then and it still does now! A true time capsule! Stratocaster '65, Dakota Red, A nice clean all original custom color Strat. I'm glad I bought these when they were somewhat afforable! Stratocaster '65, Ocean Turquoise, This one is pictured in the Mac Yasuda book "The Vintage Guitar" on page 41. Stratocaster '65, Sunburst, A Sunburst '65? Ho hum! Except that this one has the very rare maple fingerboard option, making it a very exciting guitar indeed! Stratocaster '68, Firemist Gold, I want to thank Dave & Steve Paetow (2 of the nicest guys I know!) for this one! This guitar had a really crappy white finish on it when we got it in and we had it hanging up in our shop for sale very cheap! Dave & Steve were hanging around the shop one day and they brought it to my intention that there appeared to be a gold finish underneath that nasty white finish. They suggested trying to remove the white and get it down to the original (and rare) Firemist Gold finish. Now obviously they could have not said a word and bought the guitar at a bargain price and done the work themselves, but they were way too honest to even consider such a thing! It wasn't fun, but our friend & co-worker Dave Reinders (we called him DB to avoid confusion in the store) painstakingly removed the white finish and it ended up turning out pretty good! Another fun fact on this guitar is that it never had a string tree installed! Stratocaster '77, Natural, Hard tail, I normally don't mess with much from the 70's, but this one came in basically unplayed and when I picked it up I was amazed at how light it was (6.6 pounds!) so into the stash it goes! No Caster '51, Blonde, I've had this one for longer than I care to remember! Esquire '52, Blonde, I remember paying around $500 for this guitar, way back when! Those were the days! Telecaster '53, Blonde, Got this one in trade from Larry Hendrickson in the early 80's and it has been one of my favorite Teles ever since! Telecaster '55, Blonde, I love the Blonde on this one! It's REALLY transparent. Some of the mid 50's Blondes are this way and to me it looks like they really took their time on these to make the Ash grain jump out at you. Telecaster '58, Blonde, Top loader. Nice and clean. Another one from my good buddy Chris Trider! Esquire '59, Blonde, This is a top loader. A very clean guitar with almost no fingerboard wear! Mahogany Telecaster '63, Body refinished Natural. I don't normally keep refinished guitars, but being this one had the rare combination of a mahogany body and the maple cap neck, I couldn't resist! Telecaster '66, Blonde, Nice, clean and all original! Telecaster '67, Black, Maple cap neck, One of the last to have the nitro lacquer finish. Telecaster Custom '66, Candy Apple Red, Maple neck, A rare combination indeed! Another nice one that came from Reeve Little! Telecaster Custom '66, Sunburst, I love these Tele Customs! On this one the red has really faded from the face giving it a real 2 Tone look Telecaster Custom '67, Sunburst, This is one with the maple cap (separate maple fingerboard) and you don't see many Customs with the maple board! Telecaster Custom '72, Natural with black binding. Probably one of the last single coil, bound Tele Customs. It weighs a ton! Telecaster Custom '73, Natural, This one is like new! Paisley Telecaster '69, This one is on the Cover on the 2006 Vintage Guitar Price Guide! Telecaster Thinline '68, Sunburst, You don't see many of these in Sunburst! Telecaster Thinline '74, Natural, I'll try not to bore you with too many 70's Fenders, but this one was so clean I had to buy it. Esquire '68, Blonde, This is an unusual one! It's got the no skunk stripe maple neck with the transition logo, which is pretty unusual for '68! Being that it was an Esquire they probably had transition decals left over. I bought this in the day when it was no big deal to buy a late 60's Fender! I think it was a bargain, even back then! Rosewood Telecaster '71, Fairly rare! Antigua Tele '78, I think this is one of Fender's ugliest colors! So why did I buy it? I should get counseling! Jaguar '62, Fiesta Red/Salmon Pink, Matching headstock, Definitely a fun custom color! Jaguar '64, Sea Foam Green with a matching headstock! Mmmmmm... tasty! Jaguar '64, Olympic White with matching headstock. It would be fun to get every custom color Jaguar in the collection before I'm done with it all! The fun part is the hunt! Jaguar '64, Black with matching headstock. Jaguar '65, Blonde, Dots with binding, Most of my Jags & Jazzmasters were bought from the wonderful Jimmy Brown at Guitar Emporium! Back when I was buying them from him, he was selling them to me for $500. When his price went up to $600 I quit buying them because I thought they were too much! Jaguar '65, Shoreline Gold, Another nice one from Jimmy at Guitar Emporium! Jaguar '67, Lake Placid Blue with matching headstock. I must have had this one forever (I don't remember getting it) as it is a little more beat than the Jags I usually keep. Plus I'm not a big fan of the block inlay ones. Oh well, I probably only paid a couple hundred bucks for it back then anyway! Electric XII '67, Sunburst, Kind of a silly guitar, but very clean! Swingers, Late 60's, Another good example of Fender never letting anything go to waste! The story that I heard was that they had too many Musicmaster bodies and necks laying around, so they decided to make a few mods to them and sell them as the Swingers. Marauder Prototype, 60's, Lake Placid Blue, Talk about rare! A prototype in a custom color with a bizarre headstock! Bass VI '64, Sunburst, Kind of fun in a surf kind of way! Coronado II '68, Antigua finish, Hooo-wee this is one UGLY guitar! Nobody's ever accused of having good taste and I can see why! Coronado II '68, Wildwood finish, What can I say! They can't all be custom color Strats! I was strangely attracted to this one!
Epiphone Emperor '62, Sunburst, Purchased at Gruhn's Guitars a few years back. I've always had a tough time visiting that wonderful place without leaving with a guitar in hand! Epiphone Howard Roberts '65, Natural, Bought this one at a guitar show many years ago. Epiphone Sheraton '66, Natural, I've always been fond of these, especially in Natural! Epiphone Broadway '66, Natural, A beauty! Epiphone Sorrento '66, Natural, Fun to see these in Natural! Epiphone Sorrento '66, Sunburst, Mis-labeled at the factory as a Casino! Epiphone Crestwood Custom '62, Cherry, Clean as can be and a great guitar!
Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '86, Cherry Sunburst, All the features that we all dig! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '86, Faded Royal Blue, Not real clean, but it's nice to see one this faded and played in! Like a comfortable pair of blue jeans. My good friend Steve Mesple from Wildwood Guitars got me this one! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '87, Vintage Yellow, Birds, Sweet switch, I love them in this color! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '87, Sunburst, No birds, but I still dig this one! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '89, Vintage Yellow, Brazilian board, Bird inlays, Sweet switch, God was on the ball when he grew the tree for this top! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '89, Vintage Yellow, Birds and a great quilt top! Pickups and switch has been changed, but this is one of my favorite "players"! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '89, Vintage Sunburst, I usually only go for bird inlays & sweet switches on these, but the 10 top was so perfect, plus the color really struck me as being just right! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '90, Tortoiseshell, 10 top, bird inlays & the ever so sweet switch! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '91, Vintage Sunburst, Birds, Gold hardware, plus an exotic quilt/birdseye kind of top that I really dig! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '91, Vintage Yellow, Brazilian board, Bird inlays, Sweet switch, Crazy top! All my favorite features for one of these! Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '91, Sunburst, Very unusual version with a stop tailpiece & tuneomatic! I've tried to talk them into building some like this again and they won't do it. Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 '92, Cherry Sunburst,Quilted maple 10 top, Birds, With a cool truss rod cover with a bird inlaid in it! This one, along with most of the other PRS guitars listed here, was found by my good friend Jim Barth. Anything I'm ever looking for, be it guitar, amp or car, he finds it for me in no time flat!
White Falcon '58, I had been searching forever to find a nice single cut Falcon! Now I need one with DeArmonds! White Falcon '67, With the classic (but useless!) tuning fork bridge. What were they thinking! Country Club '54, Sunburst, It's been played, but it's a nice guitar! Country Club '55, Cadillac Green, I wish I had a '55 Caddy in this color to go with the guitar! Country Club '62, Cadillac Green, Looks good with the '55! 6120 '56, Western Orange, All my favorite Gretsch features! The "G" brand, the DeArmonds, the cows & cactus inlays! 6120 '58, Western Orange, Not my favorite version but it fits in well with trying to collect all the versions of this model! Plus it is as clean as a whistle! 6120 '61, Western Orange, My Martin rep has been teasing me with this one for about a year now and I finally talked him out of it! This one is in incredible shape! 6119 '59, Western Orange, Very clean and the color is very strong and unfaded. Country Gentleman '65, Walnut, A nice addition to the Gretsch portion of the collection! Round Up Model 6130 '55, Western Orange, G brand. Cows & cactus inlays. All the desirable features! This one is pictured on the cover of "The Guitars of the Fred Gretsch Company" by Jay Scott. Sparkle Jet '55, This one has been in my possession for a long time! A beauty! Jet Firebird '57, Red, I'm not a big fan of these, but Laun thought it was a good fit for the collection.
Model 360 '59, Fireglo, I LOVE this guitar! Model 360/12 '68, Fireglo, I bought this one on a recent trip to NYC at a little shop in Greenwich Village. I was there with a couple of my best buddies (Jeff Sherin & Mark Denny) for the Cream Reunion and of course we had to hit the guitar shops while we were there. This is probably the nicest playing electric 12 string I've ever had in my hands and every time I look at it I have fond memories of that trip! Model 375 '66, Mapleglo, An undervalued beauty! Model 375 '67, Jetglo, Another one! Now I need a Firglo one to complete the 375 collection! Model 370WB '81, Fireglo, It's not very old, but I really like these double bound Rics from any year! Model 365 '63, Fireglo, Double bound, These are HARD to come by! I love the double bound Rics, old or new! Model 365 '67, Fireglo, As clean as it gets! Model 1993 '65, Fireglo, This one is an export model that I purchased from a kindly man that bought it overseas when he was in the service. Model 331 Light Show '71, Fireglo, What can I say about this one! It certainly is rare and it still works wonderfully. A lot of fun at parties!. I bought this one from my good friend Joe Pena from Iowa! Model 330 '59, Reverse Fireglo, A very unusual color! I've never seen another one like it!
Model 330 '67, Mapleglo, Found recently by my good friend Chris Trider! Model 362/12 Doubleneck '74, Fireglo, Another rare one! Model 625 '65, Fireglo, Aren't these great, undervalued guitars! Look at the goofy (but original) tuners! Symphonia Grand '61, Green Sunburst, A little rough but I LOVE the color!
Hamer Keith Richards Explorer '80, Cherry Sunburst, The story is this, John Belushi had this one built for Keith as a gift, but it never got that far. Supposedly there is another one floating around with Ron Wood's name on it too! Hamer Sunburst '80, Cherry Sunburst, Bound & crowned! I've always been a huge Rick Neilsen/Cheap Trick (the very first guitar I sold as Dave's Guitar Shop was to him!) fan and that has made me interested in the older Hamers. I'd love to find some of the 70's Explorers! Hello, anybody out there with any of those for sale? Ampeg Dan Armstrong '70, Clear, Talk about Keith Richards! Guild X-375 '53, Natural, A poor man's Switchmaster. I love the push button pickup selector. Wasn't that a GREAT idea! Guild Aristocrat '58, Sunburst, A VERY fun guitar! Guild Starfire II '61, Cherry, Very clean! National Glenwood 98 '65, White, Aren't these fun! National '64, Red, This one doesn't really line up with the specs on any of the models. It may be a Newport, but it's hard to say for sure! National Valco Folk Star Resonator '64, Black, Only a sicko like me would fall for this one! Baldwin Virginian, 60's, Natural, Kind of a silly one to hang onto, but I dig it! A funny story goes with this one! My good friend Greg Martin (Kentucky Headhunters) really likes this guitar. It turns out that his local guitar hero when he was young played one of these. I loaned it to him to mess around with it and they ended up using it in one of their music videos! Silvertone Jimmy Reed, 60's, Kind of a silly one to hang onto, but it's fun!
Martin 000-28 '57,
Natural, In great shape! Another one from the collection of Pete
Allenov. Gibson L Century, Mid 30's, Sunburst, A wonderful guitar! It is amazing to look at a guitar this old and realize that guitar building has not changed all that much since then! Gibson J-50 '56, Natural, Super clean! Gibson J-45 '64, Cherry Sunburst, Faded to a nice warm glow. Laun (one of my co-workers) used to own this one! Gibson Everly Brothers '67,
Natural, Just a horrible sounding guitar, but it sure looks cool!
