We present the Orchestra Model as a small-body guitar with a very powerful sound. The balance of the OM favors the bass to midrange, inviting comparison to a small dreadnought. The OM has become a favorite of fingerstylists and players preferring the comfort of a smaller body that delivers considerable power. This model is our most versatile and popular guitar.

The OM Pre-War Model is designed with many of the features in bracing and tone that the emerging singer-songwriter, the working musician, or a serious amateur will find desirable at a price before unheard of in guitars of this caliber.

The advanced X braces, which is the bracing pattern "Pre-War" refers to, is a good tonal option for those using the guitar for smaller accompaniment or rhythm. This style bracing gives the smaller bodied OM an incredible presence and bass response, yet retains a good balance with strong midrange and bright powerful response.

The strength of the typical dreadnought guitar is in its power and volume, which are achieved by the guitar's large body size. The increased air space also gives the instrument a predisposition to the bass range, an asset to some playing styles and a detriment to others. The Santa Cruz Model D has a unique tapered bracing voiced to enhance the midrange and treble without compromising the bass tones. This voicing gives the model D a more even balance and a greater versatility than traditionally braced dreadnoughts. We present the Model D to the guitarist who needs an instrument capable of great presence and balance, as well as the volume and power necessary to stand out in ensemble playing.

The PW refers to pre-war or advanced X bracing. The F model is visually one of the most striking guitars in the Santa Cruz line. The guitar's stylish appeal gracefully accommodates options such as the cutaway body and the Deco inlay pattern.
